2026-08-17
New opportunities for customers, the transport industry and society take centre stage as Volvo Trucks exhibits at IAA 2026 in Hanover, Germany. The stand will feature Volvo Trucks’ complete portfolio of vehicles, technologies and services designed to maximise customer value — improving return on investment, lifting operational efficiency and future-proofing transport businesses.
Volvo will present its newest electric, gas and diesel drivelines to support customers at every stage of their decarbonisation journey. These solutions help operators maintain profitable daily operations while achieving targets for productivity and uptime. Eight trucks will be exhibited on the stand, with an additional seven vehicles available for test drives.
Test-drive Volvo’s electric truck with up to 700 km range
A major highlight enables visitors to begin test drives straight from the Volvo Trucks stand in Hall 11. Attendees can experience the new long-range Volvo FH Aero Electric delivering up to 700 km, evaluate the updated, more fuel-efficient D13 engine, and trial the upcoming hydrogen combustion engine truck set for launch before 2030.
President Roger Alm views this as an ideal chance to connect customers with Volvo’s vehicles in a tangible setting. “With the test track adjacent to our stand, we aim to demonstrate our new trucks and drivelines at their very best — out on the road.”

Volvo Trucks delivers comprehensive business solutions, featuring expert guidance on driveline selection, driver safety support, and the lasting advantages of partnering with Volvo. European market leader for two consecutive years
Volvo Trucks secured the position of Europe’s leading heavy-duty truck manufacturer (16 tonnes and above) for two successive years in 2024 and 2025. Much of this success stems from the Volvo FH Aero. Boasting enhanced aerodynamics and fuel efficiency, the model has recorded sales exceeding 70,000 units. Volvo’s battery-electric trucks have recently surpassed 450 million kilometres of cumulative operation. Furthermore, Volvo trucks consistently achieve the highest 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating. New technologies and product launches arriving in 2026 will accelerate innovation and create greater value for customers worldwide.
“We are incredibly proud to present our wide range of innovations to customers and the transport sector,” commented Roger Alm, President of Volvo Trucks. “These achievements stem from sustained investment and our dedication to empowering drivers, customers and their businesses for today and tomorrow. We look forward to connecting with all partners at this outstanding event.”
